| Why quiet helmets? |
| The car industries were the first ones
to go quiet with big success. The interior
noise level of not only the big
Mercedes and BMWs were reduced
immensely during the last 25 years.
This results in a more relaxed driving,
better audibility of important signals
like the sirens of police and rescue
vehicles and in an overall improved
comfort for the rider and therefore an
enhancement of the vehicles. |
Noise creates Stress!
It has been proven that noise creates
stress - exactly the thing we bikers
want to get rid of in a pleasant way.
Surely, everybody knows that faint
random noise on entering a quiet
room after an extended drive. This is
a reliable sign for a considerable
strain on your hearing. With its "silent

Aerodynamics
A helmet’s aerodynamic is thoroughly mirrored through its acoustics. Only a helmet with ideal aerodynamics can be the basis for a silent helmet. A clean laminar flow and defined trailing edges ensure needed quietness. To take care of turbulences behind fairings, aero acoustics have to be combined with sound absorbing arrangements. |
