Noise Exposure on Motorcycles in Numbers

Even if you barely realize it during the ride (the human brain perceives noise only muted as it concentrates on driving): The noise exposure on a motorbike is considerable, even at relatively low speed, and it is constant.
At only 90 km/h the readings already exceed 90 dB(A). At 120 km/h they pass 100 dB(A). And you have to keep in mind that a 10 dB(A) raise of the sound pressure level approximates the doubling of the sound level that you hear.
